Application and Platform Architect, VMware Sameer Hashmi is an Application and Platform Architect at VMware. He works with large enterprises and organization in their Application Modernization journey and help them establish a stable platform to run modern workloads. These platform includes Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Tanzu Portfolio and other Kubernetes distribution over different flavors of IaaS. With an extensive application development background in Java, Sameer also helps development teams in building cloud native applications leveraging Spring framework such as Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Services, etc. As a Certified Kubernetes Developer, part of his job is to enable the developer and operations community on how to Build, Run and Manage modern applications on K8s and help organizations achieve their business goals and outcomes. |

Jamal Khan
Application and Platform Architect, VMware
Jamal Khan is an Application and Platform architect at VMware. He has started his Kubernetes journey a few years back and now helping different organizations in their journey. Organizations are not only trying to move towards cloud native but also want to adapt multi cloud practices. He has experience in helping large scale enterprises establish different platforms like Cloud Foundry, Tanzu and any upstream Kubernetes platform. Now with the notion of "Use Kubernetes to Manage Kubernetes", Jamal is helping enterprises manage their infrastructure with Kubernetes. He is a developer by trade and Spring/Spring Boot had a profound impact on his career, and now he is helping different customers in their Journey of cloud native and application modernization practices.
