| Upgrading Spring Boot and Continuous Migrations (Spring Consulting) | In this hands-on workshop we take Spring developers on a journey of upgrading a non-trivial Spring Boot application. We delve into the practical challenges and effective strategies for upgrading typical Spring Boot applications. This interactive session is designed for Spring developers who aim to stay current with the latest advancements in Spring and Spring Boot. Participants will gain firsthand experience in navigating the transition from Spring Boot 2.7 to 3.1, which can be quite challenging for some organizations. We will explore critical areas, such as Java version changes, dependency management, configuration changes, deprecated methods and classes, and other important areas. We will address common pitfalls and troubleshooting techniques, ensuring a smooth upgrade process for your Spring Boot applications. |
